Meet Carl Willingham

Carl is a graduate of Mexico (Mo) High School and Avila University. He also spent four years serving as a Radioman in the United States Navy. Upon graduating from college he entered the hearing health care industry as a Missouri State Licensed Hearing Instrument Specialist in January 2000. Specializing in local service centers, Carl developed offices in the Northern and Central Missouri areas from 2002-2006 and the Central and Southern Missouri areas from 2006-2011. In October 2011 Carl purchased Hearing Solutions from Floyd Hansett, former president of the Missouri Hearing Society. Floyd founded the company from the ground up, often serving as a one person operation. He is most famous for his numerous appearances on Pepper and Friends, a local television program. Hearing Solutions was founded on the principals of honesty, integrity and superior product knowledge. In keeping with that tradition, Carl has continued to grow the Hearing Solutions brand while adhering to the principals that make the company different from many of its competitors. A commitment to product knowledge and continuing education is the backbone to any hearing practice. Carl enjoys attending seminars and conferences that allow him to experience the latest developments in the hearing health care industry. Being an independent office allows Hearing Solution’s the flexibility to treat each individual situation with the best technology available.

As a member of the International Hearing Society and Missouri Hearing Society, Carl believes in supporting advocacy groups who protect the rights of both consumers and companies. His approach is to treat anyone who comes through his doors as a member of his family. Through proper fitting, counseling, adjustments and follow-ups Hearing Solutions has maintained a stellar reputation and an outstanding fitting success rate. This is what makes Carl the most happy and proud of his company.

Carl and his wife Wendy have two wonderful daughters, Sydney and Sophia. In his spare time Carl enjoys golfing, fishing, and spending time with his family at their lake cabin.  Carl is a former college baseball player who coached at Avila University as pitching coach from 1996-1999. He also enjoyed coaching both of his daughters and other youth in Upward basketball for many years.
